What is happening?

(Oakleigh Avenue Area) (Moving Vehicle Restrictions) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.66) Order 2023
DERBY CITY COUNCIL made this Traffic Regulation Order on the 21st day of August 2025, which will become effective from the 25th day of August 2025 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of schedule 9 to the 1984 Act.
The purpose of the Order is to bring into effect the following: Prohibition of driving of motor vehicles (Mon-Fri 8.30am - 9am and 2.45pm - 3.45pm) (Permit Holder Exemption) exemptions 1, 2
• Oakleigh Avenue, Eastwards from its junction with Reginald Road South – to include Newstead Avenue, Lenton Avenue and Lea Drive
• Ismay Road, for its entire length
A copy of the Order and a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order, may be inspected online at https://www.derby.gov.uk/tro
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is outside the powers of the Acts or because it does not comply with any requirement or regulations made under it, may, within six weeks of the date of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
