Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (Gwahardd Traffig Trwodd Dros Dro) (U5229 Cwm Cou, Castell Newydd Emlyn) 2025 heb fod yn llai na saith diwrnod o 18/08/2025, er mwyn gwahardd cerbydau rhag teithio ar hyd y briffordd honno. Caniateir mynediad i gerddwyr. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i’r gorllewin o bwynt i’r dwyrain o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd bydd teithio ar hyd y U5229 i’w gyffordd â’r U5228. Trowch i’r chwith i’r U5228 gan barhau i’r gyffordd â’r B4333. Trowch i’r chwith i’r B4333 gan barhau i’r gyffordd â’r U5229. Trowch i’r chwith i’r U5229 gan barhau i bwynt i’r gorllewin o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd. Ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i’r gogledd. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 1 milltir. Bwriedir i’r gwaith draenio ddechrau ar 01/09/2025 ac wedi’i gwblhau o fewn tua 2 wythnos. Gall y Gorchymyn bara mewn grym am 18 mis.

Ceredigion County Council

The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 18/08/2025, to make the Ceredigion County Council (U5229 Cwm Cou, Newcastle Emlyn) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access to be maintained. The alternative route for west bound traffic from a point east of the closure is to travel along U5229 to its junction with U5228. Turn left onto U5228 and travel to its junction with the B4333. Turn left onto the B4333 and travel to its junction with the U5229. Turn left onto the U5229 and travel to a point west of the closure. Vice versa for northbound traffic. A total distance of approximately 1 mile. It is intended that drainage works will commence on 01/09/2025 and be completed in approximately 2 weeks. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
