A52 Trunk Road - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Routine Maintenance Works

THE A52 TRUNK ROAD (SAXONDALE TO BARROWBY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN LAYBYS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A52 Trunk Road, between Saxondale and Barrowby, in the Counties of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire, to enable routine maintenance works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close any layby adjacent to the A52 between its roundabout junction with The Fosse and the A46 slip roads, at Saxondale, and its junction with the two-way link road leading to and from the southbound carriageway of the A1, at Barrowby.
The work is expected to start on Monday 15 September 2025 and continue for approximately two weeks. The Order will come into force on 8 September 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes, and vehicles being used in connection with the works or for winter maintenance purposes will be exempt from the closures.
