Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu, heb fod yn llai na 7 diwrnod o 19/08/2025 wneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (B4459 Capel Dewi, Llandysul) (Gwahardd Traffig Trwodd Dros Dro) 2025 er mwyn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y briffordd honno. Cedwir mynediad i gerddwyr. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r de o fan i’r gogledd o’r ffordd sydd ar gau yw teithio ar hyd y B4459 i’r gyffordd â’r A475 yn Rhydowen. Trowch i’r chwith i’r A475 a theithiwch i’r gyffordd â’r A486 yn Horeb. Trowch i’r chwith i’r A486 a theithiwch i gylchfan Cwm Meudwy. Cymrwch yr 2il allanfa i barhau i’r A486 a theithiwch i gylchfan Rhyd y Galfe. Cymrwch yr allanfa 1af i’r B4336 a theithiwch i’r gyffordd â’r B4459 yn Llanfihangel-ar-Arth. Trowch i’r chwith i’r B4459 a theithiwch i fan i’r gogledd o’r ffordd sydd ar gau. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 13.1 milltir. Yn y drefn arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd. Y bwriad yw y bydd y gwaith o roi wyneb newydd ar y ffordd yn dechrau ar 26/08/2025 ac yn cael ei gwblhau mewn tua 8 diwrnod. Efallai y gwna’r Gorchymyn barhau mewn grym am 18 mis.

Ceredigion County Council

The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 19/08/2025 to make the Ceredigion County Council (B4459 Capel Dewi, Llandysul) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access to be maintained. The alternative route for southbound traffic from a point north of the closure is to travel along the B4459 to its junction with the A475 at Rhydowen. Turn left onto the A475 and travel to its junction with the A486 at Horeb. Turn left onto the A486 and travel to the Cwm Meudwy roundabout. Take the 2nd exit to continue onto the A486 and travel to the Rhyd y Galfe roundabout. Take the 1st exit onto to the B4336 and travel to its junction with the B4459 at Llanfihangel-Ar-Arth. Turn left into the B4459 and travel to a point north of the closure. A total distance of approximately 13.1 miles. Vice versa for northbound traffic. It is intended that resurfacing works will commence on 26/08/2025 and be completed in approximately 8 days. The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
