What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984

o 01/09/2025 a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Fryn Marchog, Brymbo, rhwng y gyffordd â Rhodfa Mount Isa i’r gyffordd â Chlos y Fron, sef pellter o 158m, i alluogi RPO Williams Civil Engineers ar ran BT i gloddio a gosod dwythell a chebl BT yn y lôn gerbydau. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan y cau yw ar hyd Ffordd y Rheilffordd, Cylchan Ffordd y Rheilffordd, y Stryd Fawr Newydd a Ffordd Gwalia, a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr yn cael ei gynnal drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau. Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am 2 wythnos, neu nes y caiff y gwaith ei gwblhau os yn gynt, a gallai bara hyd at 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

effective from 01/09/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Mount Hill, Brymbo between its junction with Mount Isa Drive to its junction with Vron Close, a distance of 158m to enable RPO Williams Civil Engineers on behalf of BT to excavate and install a BT Duct and cable in the carriageway. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Railway Road, Railway Road Roundabout, New High Street and Gwalia Road, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The prohibition is expected to last for 2 weeks, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
