Temporary Closure of Kingsway Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Kingsway Road - from the junction with Love Lane, southwards for a total distance of 96 metres. This Order will enable Walton Civil Engineering to carry out resetting gas cover works on behalf of Wales and West Utilities.

The Order becomes effective on 2nd September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 11th September 2025 and last until 11th September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:00 for a total of 5.5 hours.
