What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam yn bwriadu gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWODD) DROS DRO dan Adran 14(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984

a fydd mewn grym o 01/09/2025 fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o’r Ffordd Gyswllt ar Ffordd Abenbury, Stad Ddiwydiannol Wrecsam rhwng y gyffordd â Rhodfa Abenbury, i’r gyffordd â Gogledd Ffordd yr Onnen am 130m i alluogi O’Connor Utilities ar ran Scottish Power i gloddio a gosod cebl Foltedd Uchel ar y llain ac ar y lôn gerbydau. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan y cau yw trwy Rhodfa Abenbury, Cylchfan Lôn y Bryn a Gogledd Ffordd yr Onnen a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod. Bydd mynediad i gerddwyr yn cael ei gynnal drwy gydol y cyfnod cau. Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad barhau am 3 wythnos, neu nes cwblhaw’r gwaith os yn gynt, a gallai barhau hyd at 18 mis

Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

effective from 01/09/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Link Road to Abenbury Road, Wrexham Industrial Estate between its junction with Abenbury Way to its junction with Ash Road North for a distance of 130m to enable O’Connor Utilities on behalf of Scottish Power to excavate and install a HV cable in the verge and in the carriageway. The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Abenbury Way, Bryn Lane Roundabout and Ash Road North, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure. The prohibition is expected to last for 3 weeks, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months
