Norwich Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Electrical Charge Point Works

What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984:
Section 14 - Temporary Closure Of Part Of The U6156 Norwich Road, Lowestoft
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U6156 Norwich Road, Lowestoft from no. 54 to no. 14 to facilitate electrical charge point works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Haward Street, Beckham Road, Stanford Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 29/08/2025 - 05/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
