Boothferry Road Roundabout - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Works
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC Boothferry Road Roundabout, Hessle
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Boothferry Road Roundabout, Hessle commencing Sunday 7 September 2025 (between 8am and 7pm) over 4 consecutive Sundays (SUNDAYS ONLY) to allow surfacing works to take place safely. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed 28 September 2025. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via: Boothferry Road, Boothferry Road Roundabout, Humber Bridge Roundabout, Lowthorpe Way, Humber Field Roundabout, Road From Ferriby High Road To Humber Field Roundabout, A63 J A15 Join E, Clive Sullivan Way, A63 Through J A15 E, A63 From J A15 To J A1166 E, A63 Through J A1166 E, A63 J A1166 Leave E, Brighton Street, Hessle Road, Askew Avenue, First Lane Roundabout. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will remain open for pedestrians, residents access and the Emergency Services.
