TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC145021541: The City of Manchester (Wardle Street, Miles Platting & Newton Heath Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Wardle Street From Eastfield Avenue to Holland street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Tewkesbury Road, Ridgway Street, Eastfield Avenue. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate a survey & Inspection of the exterior of the building It is expected that the works will be in progress from 25th August 2025 to 29th August 2025. (From 08.00 to 17.00 hours)The order shall come into operation on 25th August 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
