What is happening?

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(PRINCESS ALLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Princess Alley at
its junction with Princess Street. Access/egress to frontages to be maintained.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 1 September 2025 until 5 September 2025.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair of waste water pipework by Severn Trent Water.
