Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Market Street Falmouth between the junction of Market Strand and property numbered 40-41.
Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Falmouth) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Market Street/Church Street/Arwenack Street (Class Ill) between its junctions with Killigrew Street and Swanpool Street for their entire lengths.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out electric connection works. The Order will come into operation on 1st September 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 12th September 2025.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700 on a daily basis, weekdays only.
Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Helston.
This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st September 2025 to 8th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekends included.
Road affected - Five Wells Lane, Helston between the junction of Cobbled Ope and the property named The Old Coach House.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Perranwell Station.
This prohibition is necessary for vegetation works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th September 2025 to 18th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only.
Road affected - Chapel Hill, Perranwell Station for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Constantine.
This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th September 2025 to 19th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1430, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for speed cushion repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st September 2025 to 4th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of highway in Carnon Downs. This prohibition is necessary for footbridge repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th September 2025 to 24th October 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Public right of way affected - Bridleway 37, Gwennap and Bridleway 46, Kea for their entire lengths.

This prohibition is necessary for a delivery of brewery equipment and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th September 2025 for one day.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 19th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being
Footpath 55, Perranzabuloe for its entire length.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a rotten boardwalk. The Order will come into operation on 20th August 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 19th February 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 30th July 2025 for a period of up to 21 days.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 7th July 2025 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Tregenver Road between property number 15 and Dracaena Avenue and Penmere Hill between the junctions of Kings Avenue and Tregenver Road, Falmouth.
The Order which commenced on the 28th July 2025 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 8th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out gas mains replacement .
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
