The County of Cornwall (Stray Park Road, Camborne) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Camborne.

This prohibition is necessary for level crossing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0015 and 0755, weekends included.

Road affected - Stray Park Road, Camborne between the junction of Carnarthen Street and Vean Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Brea.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd September 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Chapel Hill, Brea between the junction of Carnarthen and Road from Chapel Hill to Hillside.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th September 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Day. This prohibition is necessary for sewer cleaning works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th September 2025 to 17th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being Garras, Helston between grid references SW70932 23309 and SW71130 23131 for approximately 230 metres.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out poling works. The Order will come into operation on 15th September 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 15th September 2025.

The restriction will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only.
