What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. 
The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for 
public safety.

THE PARADE, OADBY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 14/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake repair works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 12/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks to allow Leicestershire County Council & their contractors to undertake carriageway patching & other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

Wood Rd for its entire length, Bagworth Rd between the Jcts of Grange Ln & Footpath Q83, Grange Ln from the Jct of Wood Rd for 50m North West – Nailstone.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
It is expected that the Order will come into force on 11/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Safer Roadworks to undertake bridge inspection work. The proposed diversion route will be via: Lutterworth Rd, Whetstone; Blaby bypass, Blaby; Grove Rd, Cambridge Rd, Whetstone; Cambridge Rd, Park Rd, Cosby.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 09/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days to allow BT Openreach & their contractors to replace a damaged pole & other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Markfield Rd, R/bout at the Jct of A46 Slip Rds, A50 Groby Rd, Markfield Rd & Leicester Rd, Bradgate Hill, R/bout at the Jct of Bradgate Hill, Leicester Rd & Rd to Landfill Reclamation Site, Bradgate Hill, Lena Dr.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days at each location to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake drainage works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The Order will come into force on 28/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow BT to undertake installation works.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake new connection works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Syston Rd, Melton Rd, Queniborough; Melton Rd, Barkby Rd, Syston & vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 26/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days to allow BT to undertake installation works. Access for residents will be maintained.

The Order will come into force on 25/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Coffey Construction to undertake removal of redundant Severn Trent Water pipework. 
The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
The Order will come into force on 25/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 12 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days at each location to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway resurfacing works. 
The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.
