O 18/08/2025 sy’n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio’r darn hwnnw o Bridge Road South, Stad Ddiwydiannol Wrecsam rhwng y gyffordd ogleddol ag Ystad Tai Pentre Maelor i’r gyffordd-gyflaen â Clywedog Road South am 215m i alluogi O’Connor Utilities ar ran Scottish Power i gyflawni gwaith trydanol ar y llain ymyl i osod is-orsaf newydd.

Caeir y ffordd i un cyfeiriad yn unig, gyda llif traffig i gyfeiriad y gogledd.

Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan y cau yw trwy Clywedog Road East a Clywedog Road South a bydd arwyddion priodol yn cael eu gosod. Bydd mynediad i gerbydwyr yn cael ei gynnal drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Disgwylir i’r gwaharddiad bara am hyd at 5 diwrnod, neu nes cwblhaw’r gwaith os bydd hynny’n gynt, a gallai bara hyd at 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council has made a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

effective from 18/08/2025 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of Bridge Road South, Wrexham Industrial Estate between its northerly junction with Pentre Maelor Housing Estate to its roundabout junction with Clywedog Road South for a distance of 215m to enable O’Connor Utilities, on behalf of Scottish Power, to undertake electrical works in the verge to install a new substation.

The closure will be in one direction only, with flow of traffic in a northerly direction.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via Clywedog Road East and Clywedog Road South, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 5 days, or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
