Stocklinch Road - Temporary Road Closure For Fibre Cable Installation Works

Temporary Closure of Stocklinch Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Stocklinch Road - from the junction with Back Lane to the junction with Atherstone and Main Street - from the junction with Old A303 to the junction with Stocklinch Road. A total distance of 1430 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out fibre cable installation works.
The Order becomes effective on 4th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 8th September 2025 and last until 12th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
