(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Public Footpath 1hEG/1 in East Grinstead from its junction with Oakfield Way eastwards and southwards throughout its entire length.

The closure of this footpath is needed to maintain public safety while a property development is constructed on adjacent land.

The Order will come into effect on 8 September 2025 and remain in force for six months, after which an extension may be necessary.

During the operative periods of this Order pedestrians will be directed to alternative routes via Elizabeth Crescent.

(East Grinstead: Oakfield Way)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit waiting at any time (double yellow lines) on both sides of Oakfield Way in East Grinstead throughout its entire length.

This restriction is needed to allow large vehicles to access a construction site safely.
 
The Order will come into effect on 8 September 2025 and remain in force for up to 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
