Silver Street - Temporary Road Closure To Pole Replacement Works

Temporary Closure of Silver Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Silver Street - from the junction with Thorney Road, north-westwards for a total distance of 49 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works.
The Order becomes effective on 4th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 9th September 2025 and last until 10th September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 2 days.
