YELVERTON ROAD, BOURNEMOUTH – UTILITY WORKS

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and the Traffic Management Act 2004, has made temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT: Road closed to all vehicles

WHERE: Yelverton Road, from its junction with Granville Place for a distance of approx.12 metres

WHEN: This closure came into effect under an Emergency Notice from 9th July 2025 and is now under an 18-month Order anticipated to be in place until 22nd August 2025

WHY: Due to urgent works taking place in Granville Road by Wessex Water. The road closure required to allow room for vacuum excavator

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained and access to properties will be maintained depending on site safety.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State. The Council regrets any inconvenience to the public caused by this traffic order.
