Yeovil Road - Temporary Road Closure To Pole Replacement

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Yeovil Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Yeovil Road - from the junction with Lower Severalls to the junction with Ashlands Road. A total distance of 908 metres.

This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement, testing and tree trimming works.

The Order becomes effective on 4th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 14th September 2025 and last until 14th September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
