TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN:

The following will be closed to all vehicles with no parking – no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at anytime:

Fernside Road, from its junction with Norton Road to its junction with Bengal Road – anticipated dates 8th September 2025 until 17th September 2025

Greenwood Road, from its junction with Fernside Road to the northern property boundary of No.17 Fernside Road – anticipated dates 8th September 2025 until 17th September 2025

Fernside Road, from its junction with Greenwood Road to its junction with Bengal Road – anticipated dates 17th September 2025 until 3rd October 2025

Heathwood Road, from its junction with Bengal Road to the western property boundary of No.60 Heathwood Road – anticipated dates 17th September 2025 until 3rd October 2025

Edgehill Road, from its junction with Bengal Road to the eastern property boundary of No.6 Edgehill Road – anticipated dates 17th September 2025 until 3rd October 2025

Frederica Road, from its junction with Bengal Road to the southern property boundary of No.66 Frederica Road – anticipated dates 17th September 2025 until 3rd October 2025

Suspension of one-way to permit two-way traffic on Frederica Road for vehicular access to properties/businesses

WHY: To facilitate gas works by SGN

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

DIVERSION: Via signed routes

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
