What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, New Lennerton Lane, Sherburn-inelmet, Order 2025, No. 296 We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using New
Lennerton Lane, Sherburn-in-elmet for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between
16/06/25 & 27/06/25, due to drainage works. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs. All

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Croft Road, Camblesforth, Order 2025, No. 297 We have made
this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Croft Road, Camblesforth for a temporary period (subject to
access to premises) between 25/08/25 & 03/10/25, due to Section 50 licensed works to undertake a foul
drainage connection. However, the max duration of this Order is until 25/11/25. The closure period will
be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. All

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, New Road, Ulleskelf, Order 2025 No 286 We have extended this
Order to continue in force until 01/09/25, which is to prohibit any vehicle from using New Road, Ulleskelf
due to works / potential danger to the public, serious damage to the footpath, little clearing & cleaning.
The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs & a local alternative route

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No Tbc, Order 2025 Notice
is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1)
to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984
Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire
County Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Selby)
Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Table -
Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking Tadcaster, Wetherby Road, South side
from No 2 Wetherby Road for 41m - Waiting prohibited at all times with exemptions. A copy of the draft
Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for
proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Tadcaster Library, 8

Order 2025 No 306 We have made this Order to prohibit any pedestrian from using the Public Footpath
35.59/11/1 & 35.57/31/1 in the Parish of South Milford, between grid reference SE49123166 &
SE49203191 for a temporary period of 6 months (subject to access to premises) between 30/08/25 &
08/02/26, due to an unsafe bridge. This Order follows Emergency Notice No 121. The closure period

cyclist or person riding or leading a horse from using the Public Bridleways 35.62/10/1 & 35.62/10/2 in
the Parish of Stillingfleet between grid reference SE59984296 & SE60824316 for a temporary period of
6 months (subject to access to premises) between 30/08/25 & 08/02/26, due an unsafe bridge. This
Order follows Emergency Notice No 123. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs. All

20 Mph Speed Limit, Main Street, Water Lane, Kirk Smeaton, Order 2025 Notice is hereby given
that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which will be to
prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 20 mph on any length of road specified
below:- Main Street, Water Lane, Kirk Smeaton - Extent of Limit – 352m North from Rectory Court, Main
Street to the east boundary of The Willows Water Lane. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map
showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may
be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & on the Parish Notice Board, Kirk Smeaton during normal
