Trent Lane - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Major Gas Mains Replacement Scheme
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE TRENT LANE, WESTON-ON-TRENT
WHEN: 08 September to 29 September 2025.
WHERE: Trent Lane, Weston-on-Trent from its Jct. with Park Lane for an approx. distance of 130m east.
REASON: To facilitate major gas mains replacement scheme.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Trent Lane, Kings Mill Lane, Main Street and vice versa. Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
