What is happening?

SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL
THE BOROUGH OF SLOUGH WAITING RESTRICTIONS AND PARKING PLACES (CONSOLIDATION) 
ORDER 2017 (AMENDMENT NO. 46) ORDER 2025 (Order 6 of 2025) (PROPOSED ORDER)
Sections 1, 32, 35, 45, 46 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Regulation 7 of the 
Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations 1996 as amended.

1. SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under sections 1, 32, 35, 45, 46 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and any other enabling powers. The effects of the Proposed Order are set out below.

2. A new “CP5” parking zone would be created for parking in selected areas of the carriageway covering Arkwright 
Road, Augustine Close, Blackthorne Road, Colndale Road, David Road, Horton Road, Mathisen Way, Millbrook Way, 
Poyle Road, Prescott Road and Willow Road.

3. The Order would introduce shared use: resident parking / free short term parking, 1-hour maximum stay with no 
return within 1 hour parking places operating between 8am and 6pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, together with 
the introduction of waiting restrictions operating on all days and at all times in sections of some of these roads.

4. Properties eligible for the issue of permits are set out in the Schedule below.

Colndale Road Both sides: For its entirety
David Road West side: Numbers 1 to 17 Odds inclusive
East side: Numbers 2 to 18 evens inclusive
Mathiesen Way Both sides: For its entirety
Millbrook Way All sides: Newrest UK Kintetsu World Express (UK) Ltd
Number 2 Bridge House – Numbers 1-12, 12a, 13-17
Poyle Road All sides: Stud Farm, Manor House
Hilton Hotel Britannia Industrial Estate: Unit numbers 1-20
Air Hub: Unit numbers 1-9 Global House Wiggins Group Dakota House
Acer House Wraysbury House Subway Manor Farm Caravan Park 
 Floroma The Bungalow Manor Farm House Bank Chambers: Numbers 1-4
Ibotson Court: Numbers 1-12 Manor Farm House – Numbers 1-2

5. Copies of the Proposed Order, this notice and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Proposed Order 
may be inspected free of charge at the Council’s offices during normal working hours (excluding bank and public 
holidays). They may also be inspected on the Council’s website on the public notice page; https://www.slough.gov.
uk/consultations-petitions/public-notices-orders/3.

6. Anyone wishing to object to the Proposed Order may do by writing to the address below or emailing parking.
consultations@slough.gov.uk. The objection must be made in writing, stating the grounds on which it is made, and 
must be sent so as to arrive no later than 28 days from the date of this Notice.
