Scropton Road - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Communications Pole Replacement
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE SCROPTON ROAD, HATTON
WHEN: 05 September 2025 (09:30 to 15:30 only).
WHERE: Scropton Road, Hatton between its jct. with Heath Way and its jct. with A511 Station Road.
REASON: To facilitate communications pole replacement.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A511 Station Road/ Uttoxeter Road, Unnamed Section of A511 from A50 to Uttoxeter Road, Watery Lane, Scropton Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
