Carlisle, Temporary No Waiting & Loading Restrictions Due To Utility Works
What is happening?
CUMBERLAND COUNCIL (LORNE CRESCENT AND SHEFFIELD STREET, CARLISLE) (TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME TRAFFIC RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable utility works to be carried out (“the Works”), Cumberland Council intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from waiting at any time, on any day and/or from loading and unloading, at any time, on any day (including blue badge holders) along the following sections of road:
Lorne Crescent, Carlisle, (north east side) from a point adjacent to No. 5 Lorne Crescent, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 30m. (TTROC/15431)
Sheffield Street, Carlisle, (north east side) from its junction with Randall Street, extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 30m. (TTROC/15432)

The Order will come into operation on 1 September 2025 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months.
However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required for 26 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
