Hampshire County Council - Multiple Temporary road restrictions

What is happening?

Temporary Traffic Restrictions– Various Roads, Brockenhurst, New Forest, New Forest Marathon
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the New Forest Marathon to take place on the Sunday 14th September 2025. 
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads:  Rhinefield Ornamental Drive & Rhinefield Road, New Forest between its junction with A35 Bournemouth Road and its junction with North Weirs.  09:00-13:30 Sway Road, New Forest between its junction with B3055 Latchmoor Road and its junction with Woodlands Road. 09:55- 12:30
TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION- To impose a 30-mph temporary speed restriction on the following road: A337 Lyndhurst Road, New Forest between its junction with A337 Clayhill and its junction with Balmer Lawn Road. 06:00-17:00 ONE-WAY SUSPENSION – To impose a one-way road on the following road: Burley Road, New Forest between its junction North Weirs and its junction with Longslade. Traffic will only be permitted Northbound. - 10:30-14:45 Duration of the order: on Sunday 14th September 2025 between the hours 06:00-17:00 for 6 months or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
