Temporary Closure of White Post To Charlton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along White Post To Charlton Road - from the junction with White Post Roundabout to the junction with Charlton Lane. A total distance of 1350 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out pole testing, replacement and tree cutting works.
The Order becomes effective on 4th September 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 8th September 2025 and last until 8th September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
