Vaggs Lane, New Milton, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to pole replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Vaggs Lane between its junction with B3055 Sway Road and continuing to a point 600 metres South on Vaggs Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ashley Lane, Ashley Road, B3058 Fernhill Lane, B3055 Sway Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 10th September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to complete pole replacement. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact:
