Cracknore Hard & Normandy Way, Marchwood, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to resurfacing and island installation
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Cracknore Hard between its junction with Normandy Way and its junction with Cracknore Hard Lane. Normandy Way between its junction with Autumn Road and its junction with Byams Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Cracknore Hard, East Road, North Road, Normandy Way & Normandy Way, Bury Road, Main Road, Oakland Drive
DURATION OF ORDER: From Sunday 14th September 2025 for Cracknore Hard and Saturday 20th September 2025 for Normandy Way for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 6 days & 2 days working between the hours 22:00-06:00).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Ryebridge Construction to install a new island and resurfacing. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: enquiries@ryebridgeconstruction.com.
