Highwood Lane, Elingham, Harbridge & Ibsley, New Forest - Temporary Road Closure due to pole replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Highwood Lane starting 715 metres East from its junction with Gorley Road and continuing to a point 405 metres Northeast on Highwood Lane.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Highwood Lane, Cowpitts Lane, Gorley Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from Thursday 11th September 2025 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
