Clifton Road, Netherseal - Temporary Road Closure to Facilitate Excavation to Complete Fibre Infrastructure Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CLIFTON ROAD, NETHERSEAL
WHEN: 08 September to 12 September 2025.
WHERE: Clifton Road, Netherseal between its Jct. with Sandy Lane and its Jct. with Hunts Lane.
REASON: To facilitate excavation to complete fibre infrastructure works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clifton Road, Sandy Lane, Hunts Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
