Mill Lane - Temporary Road Closure For Local Drainage Works

Temporary Closure of Mill Lane
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Mill Lane - from the junction with Mudgley Road, eastwards for a total distance of 50 metres.
This Order will enable Kier to carry local drainage works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 4th September 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 8th September 2025 and last until 16th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 9 days.
