(SURREY STREET)
(PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Sheffield City Council proposes to make an Order under the provisions of Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 46A, 49, 51, 53 and 124(1)(c), (d) (f) and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce:

Loading bay on part of Pinstone Street
No waiting at any time on part of Pinstone Street
No Loading at any time on part of Pinstone Street
Vehicle Length Restriction (14 metres) on part of Norfolk Street
Bus Parking Place time limited to 20 minutes no return within 1 hour on part of Arundel Gate
Prohibition of Motor Vehicles (Except for Permit Holders between the hours of 10:30 and 18:00) on part of Surrey Street
One Way Traffic except for cycles on part of Leopold Street and Surrey Street

And remove:

No Waiting At Any Time on part of Arundel Gate and Pinstone Street
No Loading At Any Time on part of Arundel Gate and Pinstone Street
One Way Traffic on part of Surrey Street


A copy of the proposed Orders, plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be in Proposed Traffic Orders on the Council website at

Any observations, either supporting or objecting to the proposed Order, including the grounds for your objection, should be sent in writing to the undersigned by the 18 September 2025.
