What is happening?
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(PAGET ROAD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Paget Road in both directions at its junction with Tettenhall Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 30 August 2025 until 31 August 2025.
The diversion route is: Tettenhall Road, Chapel Ash (inbound), Ring Road, Chapel Ash (outbound), Compton Road, Clark Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of a new gas service by Cadent.
