Dunston Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
DUNSTON ROAD, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 08 September to 12 September 2025
WHERE: Dunston Road, Chesterfield between its Jct. with Beresford Way for a distance of 200m in a westerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing and lining works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Dunston Road, Coniston Rd, B6150, B6051 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
