Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
The County of Cornwall (Trevanion Hill, Trewoon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Trewoon. This prohibition is necessary for works to clear vegetation from bridge and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th September 2025 to 21st September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2200 and 0630, weekends included.

Road affected - Trevanion Hill, Trewoon for 40 metres at the overbridge.

The County of Cornwall (Fore Street, Station Road, Bodmin Road, A391 Between Bodmin Road And Junction South Of Newgate Farm, A391 Between Innis Downs Interchange And Junction South Of Newgate Farm, Bugle) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bugle. This prohibition is necessary for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th September 2025 to 20th September 2025.

The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

Roads affected - Fore Street, Station Road, Bodmin Road, A391 Between Bodmin Road And Junction South Of Newgate Farm, A391 Between Innis Downs Interchange And Junction South Of Newgate Farm, Bugle between Bugle and Innis Downs Interchange.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Penlan Cottage To Junction North Of Fortescue Mine, St Austell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for works to clear vegetation from the string course and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd September 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Penlan Cottage To Junction North Of Fortescue Mine, St Austell for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th September 2025 to 16th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Trevelgue Road, Newquay from near St Francis Home for Animals to near property known as Hillview.

The County of Cornwall (Watergate Road, Newquay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public during the Watergate Road Sprint and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th September 2025 to 21st September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0600 and 1900 on a daily basis, weekends included.

Roads affected - being Watergate Road, Newquay between the access to Watergate Bay Hotel car park and grid reference SW 83967 64162, Watergate Road Layby for its entire length between grid reference SW84136 64763 and SW 84119 64690, Footpath 36 between grid references SW 84106 64598 and SW84097 64595 and Footpath 37 between grid reference SW84214 and its junction with Watergate Road, and Access to Trebulsue Farm and Footpath 38 for their entire lengths.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary for works to Network Rail level crossing and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th September 2025 to 12th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. 

Road affected - Road From Quintrell Road To Junction North Of Manuels Farm, Newquay over the length of Chapel Level Crossing.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Footpath 4 in the Parish of Wadebridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of highway in Wadebridge.

This prohibition is necessary to create a safe working area for development works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th September 2025 to 16th September 2026.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Public right of way affected - Footpath 4 in the Parish of Wadebridge between grid references SX 00088:72412 and SW 99925:72606.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for installation of new electrical connection and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th September 2025 to 19th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Menacudle Hill To Scredda, St Austell from junction of Access To Bojea Farm in a northerly direction for approximately 40 metres.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 18th August 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in High Street. This prohibition is necessary for works to remove vegetation from structure and it is expected that the closure will be from 1st September 2025 to 5th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2100 and 0600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Coombe Road, High Street from junction with Parkyns Lane to junction with Road From Crugwallins To Coombe Road.
