Colclough Lane - Proposed Traffic Calming
What is happening?
City of Stoke-on-Trent (Traffic Regulation) (Colclough Lane) (No.10) Order, 2025 and Highways Act 1980 - Section 90 Proposed Traffic Calming - Colclough Lane, Goldenhill.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Stoke-on-Trent Council in exercise of its powers under Section 90 of the Highways Act 1980 and all other enabling powers, proposes to introduce traffic calming measures in Colclough Lane, Goldenhill. The type, location and approximate sizes of these traffic calming features are as below :-
1.Road Hump (75mm x 5000mm x 4000mm) in Colclough Lane 42m from its junction with Sandy Road
2.Raised table (width of carriageway x 75mm) (i)Colclough Lane 8m from its junction with Sandy Road for 24m (ii)Mobberley Road 12m from its junction with Colclough Lane NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Stoke-on-Trent in accordance with Sections 1, 2, 4, 122 and 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) propose to;
1.To introduce double yellow lines on Mobberley Road (W Side) from its junction with Colclough Lane for 26m
2.To introduce a zebra crossing (3.1m x width of carriageway) in the following location (i)Colclough Lane approximately 9.5m from its junction with Sandy Road Full details of these proposals, including plans and the City Council's statement of the reasons for proposing to make this Order may be examined online at Public Consultation (traffweb.app) or scan the QR code below.
If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send your objections, together with the grounds thereof, in writing to Mr Dave Wood by e-mail to highwayconsultation@ stoke.gov.uk, quoting reference: DW/NM/ TRO10/2025 by the 10th day of September 2025.
