1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, the Parking Acts of 1986 and 1989 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
2. The general effect of the ‘Goods Vehicles Free Loading Places’ Order would be to:
(a) introduce goods vehicles free loading place in a certain length of Beresford Avenue, as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice;
(b) provide that the goods vehicle free loading places referred to in sub-paragraph 2(a) above would operate at any time; and
(c) specify that goods carrying vehicles constructed or adapted for use for the carriage of goods or burden of any description and is not drawing a trailer, may use the parking places so specified in the Schedule, subject to the provisions of the Order, for the purpose of continuous loading and unloading during the permitted hours.
3. The general effect of the ‘Parking Places’ Order would be to designate further pay parking places in certain lengths of Rutherford Way, as specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
4. The Council has also approved proposals to install two road humps, also known as ‘raised tables’, under section 90 A-F of the Highways Act 1980 in Fulton Road generally located outside No. 20 and another one near its junction with Fifth Way. The road humps would be constructed to extend the full width of the carriageway and would be no higher than 75 millimetres at the highest point with 1:20 gradient ramps.
5. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the relevant Order of 2019 (and of the Orders which have amended that Order), of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and of maps which indicate each length of road to which the Orders relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Saturdays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this Notice is made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

7. Persons desiring to make representations to object to any of the proposed Orders, or to any of the proposals, send a statement in writing of their representations or objections, and the grounds thereof, via email to trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, or in writing to the Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Healthy Streets and Parking Service, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference TO/25/139/JH, to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.

Fulton Road, the north-east side, from 32.5 metres north of Fifth Way north-eastward for 17.7 metres;
Free loading place (At any time – loading/unloading limited to 20 minutes, no return for 2 hours)
Rutherford Way, the east side:
(a) from 10 metres north of Engineers Way northward for 34 metres;
(b) from 117 metres south of Fulton Road, southward for 26.4 metres;
(c) from 26 metres south of Fulton Road, southward for 18.5 metres.
SCHEDULE 2
Pay parking places (8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays) (Max. Stay of 2 hours)
Rutherford Way, the east side:
(a) from 47 metres north of Engineers Way, northward for 19.55 metres;
(b) from 90 metres south of Fulton Road, southward for 26.4 metres;
(c) from 143 metres south of Fulton Road, southward for 6.6 metres.
