Regents Park Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Bus Priority Scheme Works
What is happening?
LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
REGENTS PARK ROAD N3
The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate highway works in relation to a bus priority scheme, they intend to make an Order which will close Regents Park Road N3 between its junctions with the A406 and Holly Park. The following junctions will also be closed, while the works take place:
- Holly Park N3, at its junction with Regents Park Road
- Allandale Avenue N3, at its junction with Regents Park Road
- Beechwood Avenue N3, at its junction with Regents Park Road
- Charter Way N3, at its junction with Regents Park Road
- Tillingbourne Gardens N3, at its junction with Regents Park Road
- Chessington Avenue N3, at its junction with Regents Park Road
The works will commence on Friday 29th August 2025 at 9pm and is expected to last for 4 nights. The works are only expected to take place between the hours of 9pm and 5am. If for any reason the works are unable to commence on the 29th August 2025, then they will commence between 12th September and 15th September 2025.
The alternative route for motorists will be via Hendon Lane, A1, A406, High Road, Falloden Way, Lyttelton Road and East End Road. Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Officer in uniform or other uniformed personnel authorised by the Commissioner of the Metropolis.
