THE BRENT (PARKING PLACES) (ZONE LP) (NO. 1) ORDER 2025

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent (‘the Council’) on 11th August 2025 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, the Parking Acts of 1986 and 1989 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

2. The general effect of the ‘City Car Club’ Order will be to provide a parking place for car club vehicles in Barretts Green Road, the north to south arm, the south-west side, from 14 metres south-east of Central Way, south-eastward 6 metres.

3. The general effect of the ‘Parking Places’ Order will be to reduce in length the existing shared-use permit or pay parking place in Barretts Green Road to facilitate the introduction of the car club bay.

4. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 25th August 2025, of maps of the relevant areas and of the above-mentioned Orders of 2010 and 2019 (and of any Orders which have amended those Orders) can be requested via email during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at trafficorders@brent.gov.uk.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to any of the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
