What is happening?

THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY 
COUNCIL (HARBY LANE, COLSTON BASSETT) (30 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2025 (8400)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council Has Made an order under the Roa dTraffic Regulation Act 1984, the effects of which will be, in respects of roads at Colston Bassett in the Borough of Rushcliffe in the County of Nottinghamshire.

1. No person shall drive any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 miles per hour on that length of road specified in the Schedule of this Order.

SCHEDULE
HARBY LANE, COLSTON BASSETT

From a point 120 metres north-west of its junction with Langar Lane in a south-easterly direction to a point 80 metres south east of that junction (a distance of 205 metres) 

Relevant documents may be inspected during opening hours at:

(a) The Nottinghamshire County Council, County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 7QP.

(b) Cotgrave Library, Rivermead, Cotgrave, Nottingham, NG12 3UQ

THIS ORDER WILL COME INTO FORCE ON 21ST AUGUST 2025.

The 30 mph Speed Limit has been introduced to reduce the speed of traffic in the area and is more in keeping with the character of the road.
