THE ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (SPECIAL EVENT) (VARIOUS ROADS, KILCREGGAN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

On Thursday the 31th of July 2025, Argyll and Bute Council made the above named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, being satisfied that traffic on the length of road specified in the Schedule hereto should be prohibited or restricted for the purpose of facilitating the holding of the Cove and Kilcreggan 10k Race and having had regard to the safety and convenience of alternative routes suitable for traffic which will be affected by this Order:

Exceptions will apply to a vehicle being used in an emergency for fire brigade, ambulance, police or coastguard purposes. The restrictions imposed by this Order which are required for the safety of runners competing in Cove and Kilcreggan 10k Race and will be effective when indicated by signs between 1000 hours and 1700 hours on Sunday the Seventh day of September Two Thousand and Twenty Five.

School Road From its junction with Shore Road to its junction with Barbour Road.
Argyll Road From its junction with School Road to its junction with Rosneath Road.
Donaldson Brae From its junction with Shore Road to its junction with Argyll Road.
Little Aiden Road From its junction with Argyll Road to its junction with Barbour Road
Barbour Road From its junction with Rosneath Road to its junction with School Road.
