College Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Vegetation Clearance Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1127, College Road, Hereford, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1127, College Road, Hereford, at the railway bridge. Grid Ref: 351576 /241758.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via College Road onto Old School Lane onto the A4103 (Roman Rd) onto College Road and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to vegetation clearance and removal works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 26th of August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 3 nights (22.00-6.00hrs).
