What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES ENSOR MEWS Jnc Cranley Gardens
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
Ensor Mews to be closed at the junction of Cranley Gardens.
To be closed from 8.00am on Wednesday 27th August 2025 until 5.00pm on Friday 28th November 2025, with Backup dates of Monday 1st September 2025 until Monday 1st December 2025.
Diverted through traffic may use Cranley Gardens, Onslow Gardens, Ensor Mews, in both directions.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
