Ledbury. Traffic Prohibition Of Parking Due To Pedestrian Crossing Works

Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: A438 The Homend and High Street, Ledbury. Herefordshire, (Traffic Prohibition of Parking) Order 2025 to temporarily suspend the parking and waiting on the A438 The Homend and High Street from the junction of Fox lane to the junction of the A449. This will be a rolling restriction and will apply where indicated by traffic signs and cones.

The said suspension is required due to nearby pedestrian crossing works taking place that requires the prohibition of parking to enable traffic to safely pass the works and due to the likelihood of danger to the public while the said works are in progress. The prohibition of parking Order is expected to come into operation on the 1st day of September 2025. The order shall remain in force for a period not exceeding 18 months, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by the 30th day of September 2025.
