(Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2172 Wilden Ln from its junction with U11343 Wilden Ln service road for a distance of 100 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Safe working for overhead fibre cabling work by Openreach.
Alternative route: C2172 Wilden Ln (part), B4193 Hartlebury Rd, B4193 Stourport Rd, B4193 Rectory Ln, A449 Worcester Rd, C2172 Wilden Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.
Commencing: 16 September 2025.
(C2013 Caunsall Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure)
Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2013 Caunsall Rd from its junction with A449 Wolverhampton Rd to its junction with U13211 Kinver Ln.
Reason: Tree maintenance by WCC.
Alternative route: A449 Wolverhampton Rd, C2283 Castle Rd, C2013 Bridge Rd, C2013 Caunsall Rd (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

(A451 Bridge Street/A451 High Street/A451 Lickhill Road/A451 Mitton Street, Stourport On Severn)
(Temporary Closure) and The County of Worcester (Urban District of Stourport-On-Severn) (One-Way) Order 1965 (Temporary (Part) Suspension) Order 2025
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1 – A451 Bridge Street from its junction with U11140 Harold Davis Dr to its junction with A451 High St. Closure 2 – A451 High Street from its junction with A451 York St to its junction with A451 Mitton St. Closure 3 – A451 Lickhill Road from its junction with U11100 Lickhill Rd to its junction with A451 High St. Closure 4 – A451 Mitton Street from its junction with A451 High St to its junction with A451 Lion Hill and to temporarily (part) suspend The County of Worcester (Urban District of Stourport-On-Severn) (One-Way) Order 1965 to allow two-way traffic on A451 York St to enable access for residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing at Wribbenhall Gardens site by Severn Homes.
Alternative route: B4190 Habberley Rd (part), B4190 Kidderminster Rd, A456 Kidderminster Rd, A456 Bewdley Rd, A442 Proud Cross Ringway, A442 Franche Rd, B4190 Habberley Ln, B4190 Habberley Rd (part) and vice versa.

(U10202 Richmond Road/U10219 Tudor Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 – U10202 Richmond Rd from its junction with U10222 Lancaster Rd to its junction with U10218 The Lakes Rd. Closure 2 – U10219 Tudor Road from its junction with U10202 Richmond Rd for a distance of 70 metres in a north easterly direction.
Reason: Utility work by Cadent.
Alternative route: U10218 The Lakes Rd, U10218 Baldwin Rd, U10219 Tudor Rd, U10221 Lyttleton Rd, U10222 Lancaster Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs).

Reason: Telegraph pole replacement by Openreach.

Reason: Street lighting column replacement by Prysmian Cables & Systems.
Reason: For emergency services, must follow diversion route.
Alternative route: A442 Bridgnorth Rd, B4190 Wolverley Rd, C2183 Lowe Ln, U12300 Honeybrook Ln (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Order made: To close that part of A442 Bridgnorth Rd from its junction with A442 Franche Roundabout to its junction with U12300 Honeybrook Ln.
Reason: Manhole cover replacement by STW.
No access for emergency services. Must follow diversion route.
Alternative route: A442 Bridgnorth Rd (part) into Shropshire, into Staffordshire, A449 Wolverhampton Rd, A449 Stourbridge Rd, A451 Stourbridge Rd, A456 St Marys Ringway, A456 Park Butts Ringway, A442 Proud Cross Ringway, A442 Franche Rd and vice versa.

(U10202 Richmond Road, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025
Order made: To close that part of U10202 Richmond Rd from its junction with U10219 Tudor Rd to its junction with U10218 The Lakes Rd.
Reason: To rectify defect by Cadent Gas.
Alternative route: U10218 The Lakes Rd, U10218 Baldwin Rd, U10219 Tudor Rd and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 19 August 2025.
EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)
(Wyre Forest District – Stourport on Severn Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2025 (Experimental Prohibition of Waiting on Kingsway, Stourport on Severn)
On 31 July 2025 Worcestershire County Council made an Experimental Order which will impose prohibition of waiting at any time on the following lengths and side of roads in Stourport on Severn:
Kingsway – South Side: From a point 47m west of its junction with Mitton Road for a distance of 23m in a westerly direction.
The Order contains exemptions to allow parking/access for certain vehicles and limited waiting by disabled persons/vehicles.
The Experimental Order will come into operation on 28 August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.
