Carter Lane West, Carter Lane, Ashbourne Street - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
CARTER LANE WEST, CARTER LANE, ASHBOURNE STREET, SHIREBROOK

WHEN: 04 September to 07 September 2025 (08:00 to 16:00 each day)
WHERE: Carter Lane West, Carter Lane, Ashbourne Street, Shirebrook between the Jct. of Carter Lane West and Little Lane to the Jct. of Ashbourne Street and B6407 King Edward Street.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway repair works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6407 King Edward Street / Main Street, Little Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
