M27 MOTORWAY – JUNCTIONS 2 TO 3 TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has varied The M27 Motorway (Junctions 2-3)(Temporary Restriction and Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025(a), originally made on 17th June 2025.

The effect of the variation is to extend the 50mph speed restrictions on the westbound carriageway of the M27 from a point approximately 1200 metres west of the Rownhams Lane overbridge to a point approximately 890 metres west of the Rownhams Lane overbridge.

The variation will come into force on 15th August 2025, ceasing when the works are complete.

The speed limits will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
