TEMPORARY CLOSURE C104 A44 TO SNOWSHILL JUNCTION

(CHIPPING CAMPDEN PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C104 – A44 to Snowshill Road Junction from its junction with Broadway Hill to outside the property known as ‘Peters Farm’ for a distance of approximately 474 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for overhead cable works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C104 Colman Road from its junction with the B4077 to outside Temple Guiting School for a distance of approximately 1632 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for drainage works.

The reason for the said closure is to work for new water connection works.

TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION ON C138 LITTLE RISSINGTON TO GREAT BARRINGTON (GREAT RISSINGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Schedule Speed Restriction – 40MPH

There will be no waiting permitted throughout the duration of the works.

The reason for the said restriction is for safety whilst telecom works are undertaken.

The said speed restriction on the road is expected to be restricted between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs daily from 18th August 2025 to 25th August 2025 or until the said works have been completed. The reason for the said closure is for pole master build installation works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF VARIOUS ROADS (VARIOUS PARISHES) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of roads as detailed in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for highway maintenance works.

There will be no waiting, stopping or loading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme commencing 18th August 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate when the said closures are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 31st March 2026.
